What is aCO2 Footprint?

A CO₂ footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions generated by an organisation through its activities, energy consumption, and value chain. Measuring these emissions provides the foundation for CSRD reporting, VSME reporting, B Corp Certification, and climate strategies.

How does Carbon Accounting work?

We support companies in measuring and reporting emissions based on the internationally recognised Greenhouse Gas Protocol, which distinguishes between:

✓ Scope 1: Direct emissions from your own operations (e.g. company vehicles, heating).

✓ Scope 2: Indirect emissions from purchased energy (e.g. electricity).

✓ Scope 3: Indirect emissions across the entire value chain (e.g. suppliers).

By collecting and analysing this data, you gain a clear understanding of your hidden costs and carbon footprint, allowing you to take targeted action.

We don’t work exclusively with a single tool. One of the solutions we use is Tapio, a powerful and user-friendly Carbon Accounting platform. Tapio makes it easy to calculate your emissions, simulate scenarios, and develop action plans.
